Referring to the Royal Malaysian Customs Department, foreign guests are required to pay a Tourism Tax of RM 10 per unit per night effective 1st January 2023. Tourism Tax will be collected by the operator before the check-in date. Malaysians or Permanent Residents with MyPR cards are exempted from paying the Tourism Tax.
